Twelfth Annual Meeting

The Alliance for Braille Literacy will be holding its Twelfth Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 16th.

This date was chosen to commemorate the life of Dr. Abraham Nemeth, as it was the date he entered this world
and began to accomplish so much. He created the widely used Nemeth Code for Math and Science, as well as its more
encompassing successor, The Nemeth Uniform Braille System (NUBS). The Alliance for Braille Literacy (ABL)
was created to preserve, maintain, and distribute this improved system.

The annual meeting is open to all members and non-members of ABL. It will be held at 9:00 PM Eastern Time
using the Zoom Platform. Elections this year include President and Secretary. All members who are in good standing
with the organization may run for any office position up for member election.

To become a member, or to check to see if you are in good standing as a member, or to submit your name for nomination,
please contact Michelle, ABL Membership Chair, via e-mail at chelle@all4braille.org. Membership dues must be received
by ABL prior to the beginning of the Annual Meeting to become a member who is in good standing and eligible
for nomination and eligible to vote.

The meeting agenda and Zoom meeting information will be provided via e-mail to all registrants.

Registration is free and must be completed prior to the meeting by providing your full name, address, phone number,
e-mail address, and the reason for your interest in participating to Bob Stepp, ABL President, at 402-423-4782 or bob@all4braille.org

We support braille literacy and STEM access using a complete and concise code and we look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
